Once your child starts school, their school shoes become their most important pair of shoes. Worn five days a week for at least 7 -8 hours a day and in all weather conditions, school shoes have to be not only a great fit but also incredibly hard wearing! 'Back to School' is the busiest time of the year for most children's shoe shops. To make school shoe shopping in July and August as stress free as possible we have introduced an appointment system. Please call us at the shop or e-mail us to book your 'back to school' appointment. It is advisable to shop early to avoid the worst of the queues and have the widest choice.

After a summer wearing sandals and trainers, school shoes will undoubtedly feel strange. It's really important to make sure your child wears their new shoes for a little while every day over a week or so before the new term begins. On an average day your child will be wearing their school shoes for at least 7-8 hours, so plenty of time to get used to new shoes before the first day of term will help to avoid red heels and ensure their new shoes are really comfortable.
